Fresno protesters threatened by Police Chief Dyer

On Martin Luther King, Jr. Day 2015 in Fresno, CA, protesters turned their backs as the Chief of Police spoke. Fresno People's Media reports, "At the beginning of the month, Chief Dyer was on television explaining a plan to “crack down on protesters”. In the plan, crafted by the district attorney and the police department, protest organizers are to be identified via police surveillance and sent a letter threatening retribution in the form of citations, $6,000 restitution, and jail time if the protests continued."

Obviously, protesters feel their First Amendment rights should be protected, not threatened by the Chief of Police with retribution, incarceration, and extortion. Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King was faced with identical government injunctions against free speech and the right to protest. He responded in his final speech. See the excerpt below.

"If I lived in China or even Russia, or any totalitarian country, maybe I could understand some of these illegal injunctions. Maybe I could understand the denial of certain basic First Amendment privileges, because they hadn't committed themselves to that over there. But somewhere I read of the freedom of assembly. Somewhere I read of the freedom of speech. Somewhere I read of the freedom of press. Somewhere I read that the greatness of America is the right to protest for right. And so just as I say, we aren't going to let dogs or water hoses turn us around, we aren't going to let any injunction turn us around. We are going on." ~MLK in his final address in Memphis, TN

Justice Scalia of the U.S. Supreme Court has announced that the Constitution is dead, dead, dead. Obviously, the Fresno district attorney and police department think so. The first protest organizer in Fresno who is issued a citation or arrested for organizing peaceful protests should appeal the infraction against the Constitution all the way to the Supreme Court and see how it is handled by the justices whose job it is to interpret the constitution. See if it said anything about "free speech" or the right to "petition government for a redress of grievances," or any of the other "rights" that free people should have in a government of, by and for the People.

Below is a photo of my online minister, Rev. Floyd Harris (in red), associate pastor of New Light for New Life Church of God in Fresno, California. He obeys the Word of God and speaks for the poor and oppressed and all who are appointed to destruction, no matter who threatens him (Pv. 31:8-9). Some Christian leaders still obey God. We may protest in Silicon Valley one fine day.

If Rev. +Floyd Harris  is ever arrested by Chief Dyer for organizing protests in Fresno, both my ministers would be political prisoners. +Rev Edward Pinkney was arrested in December for organizing a recall petition against a sold-out black mayor in Benton Harbor, Michigan. We are grateful that Dr. King was not the only minister who walked his talk.

Rev. Floyd Harris is the director of National Network in Action and channel director for NNIA, home of our nighttime broadcasts on Blogtalkradio at 9pm Pacific Time on Mondays for "Human Rights for Prisoners March," on Wednesdays for "Assistance to the Incarcerated Mentally Ill" and on Sundays for "MaryLovesJustice Prayer Meeting." Call (818)572-2947, and have your say! People can also listen via computer.

Support Pinkney: House Arrest and Gagged

Breaking News!

Civil rights fighter and UFAA friend Rev. Edward Pinkney of Benton Harbor, MI has been arrested and charged with election law violations.  He’s under house arrest and tethered.  Cannot leave his house for ANY reason.

He could face another 5 years as a political prisoner for his valiant efforts to recall Benton Harbor mayor and corporate stooge James Hightower. Pinkney is a true leader for working and poor people, embroiled in a critical moment for the defense of American democracy. Please visit http://bhbanco.org and contribute what you can to Rev. Pinkney’s legal defense.  He would like 1,000 people to call the courthouse, ask for Michael Sepic, chief prosecutor. Free Pinkney!

Rev. Pinkney is facing election fraud charges less than two weeks before the recall election for the mayor of Benton Harbor.

The sheriff went out to intimidate and harass the people.  In one hand they had the original signed petition, in the other hand a computer copy of the recall petition with a whited out first digit.  They asked the resident which day they signed the recall petition with 2 different dates in their hand, confusing the person, and trying to force the person to say they did not sign the petition on the original date.  Also, they claimed that 4 people signed 2 different petitions twice.  The law is clear on that.  A person who knowingly signed a recall petition more than once, or signed a name other than his own, is violating the provisions of Michigan election law. Pinkney never allowed anyone to sign the petition twice.  This is another attempt to silence Pinkney. He can no longer use his computer.  He’s under house arrest 24/7.  He cannot leave his house for any reason.  They are trying to silence him completely.  Please spread the word.

Get on Twitter and Facebook, call in to radio shows, write letters to newspapers, call your representatives, and don’t let corporate welfare queens and their hired thugs back down the citizens of Benton Harbor! We want jobs, not dictators! And we demand our rights to freedom of speech, assembly and political representation!

”Benton Harbor reminds me of Mississippi in the late 1950′s and early 1960′s. I have never been one to rave about how much progress my generation has made, but I had hoped to see an end to these horrors in my lifetime.  All citizens have the civil right to recall an elected official or initiate a referendum by way of petition.  This is our only outlet.” – Rev. Edward Pinkney, 4/20/14

WHAT WE CAN DO

Let the world know about the activist minister who was arrested for obeying Proverbs 31:8-9: "Speak for the poor and needy and all who are appointed for destruction."

Do not allow a corporate takeover of government in Benton Harbor, Michigan while the main voice against it has been silenced through criminal prosecution on false charges, house arrest and gag order. Protest this injustice through phone calls, letters and emails to authorities, and help Rev. Pinkney raise his legal fees.

It is little wonder why Rev. Pinkney faces this ordeal right before the "May 24, Occupy the PGA event" to protest the sales of public lands to corporations and corruption in the police department, which was announced at this webpage
http://hreventsbymlj.blogspot.com/2014/02/protest-benton-harbor-pd-march-1.html

I speak for Rev. Pinkney, because he helped me to have a voice to expose racism, class consciousness, and health discrimination in the justice system while most other people do not, including black media companies and ministers. He understands that censorship is the ordinary course to silence truth-tellers among oppressed people. His online radio shows give a voice to the voiceless of all races. Now Rev. Pinkney is himself censored again, and he faces incarceration for standing up for oppressed people. It is our duty to object to this injustice and support Rev. Pinkney's legal fight.

I love America more than any other country in this world, and, exactly for this reason, I insist on the right to criticize her perpetually. ~James A. Baldwin

Preventing Christian Unity Online

Something new happened tonight. For the first time, NSA or whatever stalkers prevented me from adding someone to my "follow" group: Pastor Eric Miller at Google+
https://plus.google.com/+PastorErickMiller/posts
Pastor Miller publishes the importance of salvation through Jesus Christ and the absolute REQUIREMENT of repentance. He denounces the new, false gospel that we can have Jesus as "savior" without accepting Him as the lord of our lives. I did not learn about this new gospel until 2013. I have heard it from numerous pastors and teachers. They say, "Come as you are; stay as you are. Your sins are covered by grace."

WHY SATAN HATES MESSAGES DEMANDING REPENTANCE FROM SIN
Satan and His worshipers have an issue with real Christians. As long as God is on the throne in our lives, He has our love, respect, and complete obedience. Yes, we still fail - sometimes badly. We repent when we sin like King David did and ask for forgiveness. We strive to be like Christ in words and deeds. We recognize that God hates sin. We understand that the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. We who fear Him do not want to provoke Him. People who don't fear God are both unwise and unsaved.

Satan cannot convince everyone that nothing from nowhere clashed against nothing from nowhere and banged out a world. Therefore, his new tactic is to convince Christians that there is no need to actually obey God because He is a pushover who will never demand accountability for sin. Pastor Eric Miller challenges Christians to get right with God according to His holy Word and not operate on some false idea of an ever-patient, ever-loving, ever-forgiving Father who punished people in ancient times but stopped now. Satan also understands the power of unity. That is likely why NSA or other stalkers prevented me from "following" Pastor Miller on Google+. I already am affiliated with two activist pastors who put the Word into action: Rev. Floyd Harris, Jr. and Rev. Edward Pinkney; both are Christian revolutionaries.

The Bill of Rights has five important provisions, and all five are regularly violated for Mary Neal: free speech, freedom of press, freedom of religion, the right to peaceful assembly, and the right to petition government for a redress of grievances. Preventing my online association with Pastor Miller violates the first four, so I hereby petition the government AGAIN for a redress of grievances: U.S. Gov, either stop your CoIntelPro interference with my electronic communication, or investigate the crimes and make the responsible party stop. If you refuse to do either of these, then please show good cause why Mary Neal is targeted for oppression. Note: Oppression to cover up the secret arrest and wrongful death of my disabled brother, Larry Neal, and to stop my advocacy for 1.25 million mentally ill inmates would be unacceptable to any real Christian. They are certainly unacceptable reasons to me.

I have not studied Pastor Miller's posts yet, but I do know what the Word says and that God's Word remains unpopular with corrupt and totalitarian governments. Officials over governments that do or plan great evils do not want their actions being judged by what the Word says, because Jesus was and is the world's greatest human rights advocate. Therefore, people who emulate Christ are necessarily considered "dissidents" in such regimes. Read below Christ's stance on some topics, and you will see that His position is adversarial to totalitarian governments:

Jesus Christ is against capital punishment (Psalm 102:19-20), prisoner torture (Heb. 13:3), victimizing people (Matt. 25:40), avoidable wars (Rom. 12:18 ), all forms of discrimination (Gal. 3:28 ), and apathy about human suffering, which is inexcusable (Prov. 31:8).

God gave His best! But too many so-called Christians expect Him to settle for limp excuses: "I'm only human." Whereas that is true, God admonishes us to strive to be PERFECT: "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect" Matt.5:48. "Ye shall be holy; for I am holy" Leviticus 11:44, 45.

Endeavor to live a life that is pleasing to One who created you, gave you His Son, and offers you eternal life in Paradise. Although you and I will surely fail in our quest for holiness and perfection, that should be our aim. Goal-oriented people study hard for degrees and certifications, sacrifice much of their lives working from 8 to 16 hours a day, and some will kiss up to anyone and everyone who they feel will help them to advance. God sees all that we do for worldly success, but millions feel it is good enough to tell Him, "I'm only human." I really, really think you should read the Bible and learn the truth that sinful leaders won't tell you. Your chances of success with that excuse will be the same as a person with a middle school education applying for a CEO position. People who refuse to repent from sin are grossly under-qualified for God's worship and service.

We have discussed two of Satan's tactics: 1) spread the idea that there is no God; and 2) spread the false doctrine that God does not expect holiness from His people - anything goes! The third lie is for people who are too sensible to accept either of those. The third concept is most dangerous. It says, "God is real. He demands holiness, but you have time." Millions of people intend to repent and take a stand for righteousness, but they procrastinate. They plan to obey God, but not today. They ignore biblical messages conveying urgency.

Only fools say there is no God (Psalm 14:1). It is useless to argue with them, but there is hope for people who have been fed misinformation about the necessity of repentance and urgency. Our Father knows the problem with people who say "I'm only human" and "I will repent later" is they want a savior without having a lord. He says, "And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?" The "I'm only human" crowd will be rejected, as will those who are sleeping when Christ returns. There is no "bargain salvation."  It will become increasingly challenging to stand for righteousness in these Last Days. Christians not only have our own flesh to battle but also repressive governments that order "Don't feed the homeless! Don't say 'Christmas'! Don't care about your neighbors!" Although it is frightening, we are admonished to resist fear and the devil and be faithful to God. Holiness requires sacrifice, but we must TRY to please God every day in all our ways. When you fail, repent quickly, ask for forgiveness, and try, try again. Heaven is going to be worth it - a never-ending PARTY that nothing equals. Don't miss it. Blessings.

Rev. Edward Pinkney - The People's Pastor for Justice

Merry Christmas! Rev. Pinkney invited a Georgia family with mentally ill inmates to speak to the public on his Blogtalk Radio Show on Christmas Sunday at 5pm EST. While many people in media are too intimidated or sold out to air news about the prison industrial complex, Rev. Pinkney is neither. Listen as we discuss this and other justice issues that have significant impact for Americans and world citizens http://goo.gl/SDTME . The Christmas 2011 show is at the preceding link. Update: The Goolsby family's circumstances improved by February 2012.
2. --- The Rev. Pinkney Show's call in number is 347-994-3644, and taped shows are archived for you to hear online anytime at http://www.blogtalkradio.com/rev-pinkney - Rev. Pinkney is an activist minister after the order of Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. He hosts one of Blogtalks Radio's most popular shows precisely because he covers issues that negatively impact people of every race, culture, and nationality: corporate greed and government misdeeds. Rev. Pinkney is the only minister I know about who was arrested for quoting a Bible verse. Learn more about Rev. Pinkney, president of the NAACP in Benton Harbor, Michigan and director of BH BANCO Organization, and his ministry of spreading truth and promoting justice at the BH BANCO website:   http://bhbanco.blogspot.com/
3. --- Information in these seven numbered paragraphs and four links are to introduce Rev. Pinkney to my online friends. Church used to be a place where the community gathered to address issues that impacted daily life in addition to worship our awesome God, who loves justice. Churches were not always country clubs. Ministers did not limit their sermons to the great acts of Jesus Christ, prophets and the apostles who ran the race thousands of years ago. Ministers like Rev. King preached human rights advocacy from the pulpit, because they recognized that as being God's work. Please support Rev. Pinkney financially. He dares to honor his position as a man of God to expose human suffering and give practical help to victims of injustice.
4. --- Some ministers have been recruited by the Government to join Homeland Security Clergy Response Teams and influence their parishioners to cooperate with Martial Law, etc. Even regarding such congressional bills as the National Defense Authorization Act (for concentration camps in America), many ministers do not warn their members about pending legislation that may infringe on individual liberties. Therefore, obtrusive bills that essentially eliminate constitutional protections are passed without Christians knowing and objecting. Perhaps certain ministers made an agreement to say nothing about such congressional bills and allow their associate pastors to say little to nothing in that regard.
5. --- The Bible teaches that we are not to forsake the assembly of saints. But many people have left the Church, not because they lost faith in God, but they temporarily have no church home. Some people are between church homes because of disappointment with their church leadership, and others in the body of Christ are unchurched because they recently relocated to a new community or to a different city. Some Christians are willing and able to give to ministries in addition to paying tithes and offerings within their own churches because they see the value of other ministries and wish to support them. That generousity led to the growth of numerous annointed television ministries. Please listen to some tapes of Rev. Pinkney's Blogtalk Radio Show, and consider sending offerings to assist his mission. The shows are not church services but news and viewpoints about social and political issues affecting individuals of all races, ethnicities, and socioeconomic groups.
6. --- Please send contributions to Rev Pinkney at 1940 Union St., Benton Harbor, MI 49022. I put that address on several of my articles, but the same cyberstalkers who censor my Internet advocacy against mass incarceration, capital punishment, The Cochran Firm fraud, and hypocrisy among decision makers in America also stole Rev. Pinkney's address from the articles. Yesterday I discovered that Rev. Pinkney's Blogtalk Show web site had an incorrect day listed for his shows: Saturday instead of Sunday. Rev. Pinkney faces opposition from the NAACP over keeping his position as president of the Benton Harbor chapter, which he essentially built. Those issues confirm for me that this is a sincere leader, unlike many who claim to be. The minister's attacks also prove that our radio broadcasts are unique and important in the quest for justice. No, Rev. Pinkney is not among ministers on Homeland Security's Clergy Response Teams, who were trained to "quell dissent" that arises in response to social injustice. Like Rev. King, Rev. Pinkney chooses rather to "quell oppression." Learn more at the website for BANCO (link is above). Use the link to access our Christmas show in paragraph 1 of this article: "WHEN DEMOCRACY BECOMES DISPOSABLE." Listen to other taped shows and tune in to live broadcasts every Sunday to be inspired and motivated by The People's Pastor, his co-host and guests. Justice is God's perfect will.

7. --- Mary Neal, director of Assistance to the Incarcerated Mentally Ill  http://www.care2.com/c2c/group/aimi
